Tho latest despatches to hand from Tonquin state that the French troops continue their operations against the Annamese, and met Avith further success. Haiphong avus captured Avith the loss of only fifteen killed and fifty Avounded, but Avas subsequently evacuated. Tho loss on the enemy's side has not been ascertained, but it is stated to bo much larger.

Tho French Press to-day warmly repel the char-re made by the Norri Deutsche Gazette that France was the sole disturber of European peace.
