August 21. The Spanish Government has demanded the expulsion from Franco of the guerilla troops avlio fled across the frontier after the recent futile attempt to raise a rebellion. The French Government has, hoAvever, put difficulties in the Avay of the extradition of the rebels, and diplomatic relations bctAvcen the tAvo countries arc in consequence someAvhat strained at the present timo.
