August. 20— Maori, s.s., from Wairoa, Avith several native passengers.

DEPARTURES.

August. 21—Sir Donald, s.s., for Moeangiangi. The steamer Maori, Capfc. Anderson, returned from Wairoa last night, with several natives and a part cargo. Sho will bo loaviiigiiguin for the smiio destination at 9 o'clock to-morrow morning. The Union Company's steamer Taiaroa, Capt. Parsons, left Auckland at 7 o'clock last night, but as she is calling at Gisborno and Tauranga en route sho will probably not arrive here before Wednesday night or Thursday morning. The s.s. Sir Donald, Capt. Quinlan, steamed for Moeangiangi at 10 o'clock this morning, Avith a part cargo of station stores and timber. The steamer Kiwi's departure from Wellington for the coast and Napier has been delayed, and she will not now be leaving before to-morrow night, and thus will not arrive here before Friday morning. The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Captain Allman, is telegraphed as having left Wellington at 5.30 last night, and should put in an appearance here at about the same hour to-night. She will discharge her cargo inside, and at 3 p.m. to-morrow will steam for Gisborne and Auckland.
