Saturday. The polling- for the general election is proceeding. "The following Ministers have been re-elected :—Sir Thomas Mclhvraith, Premier and Colonial Secretary ;Mr Archer, Colonial Treasurer; and Mr Perkins, Sccrotary of Lands. Tho final returns from Townsvillo have not yet been receiA'cd, and therefore it is uncertain Avhether Mr Marcrossan, Secretary of Public AVorks, has been re-elected. Mr King, the Speaker of tho Assembly, has been defeated for Maryborough.
