August I*3. Intelligence is to lmud from Zululand re-
porting that another great battle has taken place between the followers of Cetewayo and those of Usibepu, resulting in great slaughter on both sides. Usibepu's followers were defeated, and the chief escaped with difficulty. Cetewayo is still in retirement, but is reported to be recovering from the wounds I-β received at the battle of Ulundi.
