All nominations, acceptances, &c., accompanied by the necessary amount in cash must be addressed to tho Secretary and left at the Petanc Hotel not later than 8 p.m. on the several specified dates. General entry night—FRIDAY, November 2. The rules and weights of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club as in force at the day of the meeting will bo strictly adhered to. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes.
