COMMISSION OF ENQUIRY INTO CAUSES OF SICKNESS ON IMMIGRANT SHIP.
Wellington, This day. A Royal Commission has been appointed to enquire into the causes of tho outbreak of fever on board the ship Oxford. The Commissioners are Dr Henry, Health Officer, Dr Grabham, Inspector of Asylums, and Mr Hackworth, Collector of Customs. The enquiry will bo a most searching one. A number of the immigrants have been released from quarantine, and tho patients arc progressing favorably.
