MAN NARROWLY ESCAPES BEING BURNT TO DEATH.

At Manfordtown, McMahon, a laborer, had a narrow escape from burning to death, his hut taking fire while he was drunk. He was severely burnt, and has been sent to the Dunedin Hospital.
