July 30—Omapere, s.s., for Gisborno, Tauranga, and Auckland. Passengers — Mrs Roberts, Master Rathbone, Messrs Pearson and Lamb, and the Napier Football team, consisting of Messrs W. R. Stronach, H. D. Robinson, F. Fulton, James Vautier, C. Cotterill, D. Couper, W. J. Chissell, G. Pram, G. St. Hill, A. Stubbs, G. Walker, A. Suodgrass, and W. Anderson.

The Union Company's steamer Omapere, Capt. Webster, dropped anchor in the bay from Dunedin and Timaru direct at 5 o'clock last night, and was at once tendered by the launch for mails, and the steamer Sir Donald for her cargo. Her outward passengers were taken out by the launch at 9 p.m., the Omapero steaming on her course for Gisborno, Tauranga, and Auckland at 10 p.m. She is announced as having arrived at the former place at 7.20 a.m. this day. The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, returned from Wairoa at 6.30 last night, with a nnmber of passengers. The three-masted schooner Mary Wadley, Captain Moore, arrived in the harbor from Greymouth at an early hour this morning, after about a week's passage, and was towed in during the forenoon by. tho steamer Sir Donald and berthed at tho breastwork. She brings a cargo of coal consigned to the Railway Department. Tho steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, has loaded up with a quantity of wool and tallow, and was to have sailed for Wellington at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The Union steamer Southern Cross is to leave Auckland to-night, and would be duo here about Frday next.
