ATTENTION is called to Clause 23 of the Conditions of Contract, which provides that Avorkmen, tradesmen, and laborers of every class employed on tho works to Avhich these conditions refer shall ' be paid their Avages in full in money, current coiu of the colony, at least once in ' every fortnight, and no ticket or other system of payment by provisions, liquors or ' goods Avill on any pretence bo allowed. ; The Avorkmen of every class shall be paid on ' the works if it bo possible, or in some build--1 ing adjoining, and in no case shall they be L paid at a publiohousc or other place where '' liquors or refreshments are sold.
