The London correspondent of the Freemim, writing on May R, *ays : —Thu House of Commons had n curious visitor at about li.-ilf-past one on Saturday morning in the person of " Chung," tho Chinese giant. His conductor, Mr Cameron, :i Dublin until, sent in his curd to Mr William O'Brien, the member for Mallow, who, on going- out to the lobby and asking for his visitor, was astonished to soo Iho gigantic Chinaman advancing towards him. Scotch member, whoso curiosity overcame his natural reserve, walked across the lloor to Mr O'Brien and asked who his enormous friend was. Mr O'Brien promptly replied that he was a, coming candidate for an Irish constituency, and a native of a district with an unpronounceable name in the county Tipperary, where ho was considered rather small for his ago.
