THE DUNEDIN GAOL INQUIRY.

The Dnncdin gaol inquiry was resumed this morning, when Mr Connolly, Minister of Justice, and Mr Dick, Colonial Secretary, were examined by Mr Solomon. The former declined to produce communications between Captain flume and himself, or to repeat conversations between them, they being privileged. Mr Dick stated that when he was Minister of Justice in May or June last year the subject of an inquiry has been discussed, but he did not think the matter then ripo.
