Tho manager of tho National Mortgage and Agency Company of Ncav Zealand reports of the local grain market as follows : —AVheat is steady but not iv active demand nt 4/11 to 6/- for shipping parcels; malting barley is quiet at bj- to 6/- ; New Zealand oats are quieter and Aveaker at 2/9 to 3/1 for feeding- qualities, and 8/1 to 3/2 for milling sorts ; New Zealand oats under bond are slow of sale at 2/1 to 2/1.
