SETTLEMENT OF THE BROMLEY EPISODE.
Gisborne, This day,
The Bromley episode has now been amicably arranged, and the cases withdrawn from Court. The defendant admitted that he was lawfully married to the lady who came here from Sydney to see him. It av.ms stated in evidence that Bromley Avas married to the woman he lived with as Avife in Gisborne, but there appears to be some difficulty in producing a register of such alleged" marriage. Mrs Bromley, it is understood, and returns to her family in Australia.
