PARISH OF ALL SAINTS, TARADALE.
The annual meeting of tlio church mcnibers of the parish of All Saints, Taradale, was held in the school-room at Pukctapu at 1 p.m. ou Saturday, the Ilev. C. L. JL'uko iv the chair.
Tlio minuted of the lnhfc annual meeting having been read and confirmed, the financial statement of the parish for the year ending 30th June, 188.'i, was read by the churchwarden, Mr J. Smith, and laid upon the table,
On the motion vi Mr Nowbold, junr., seconded by Mr Beamish, tho report and balance-shoot were adopted.
The Rev. C. L. Tuko, curate-in-charge, nominated, for the Bishop, Mr N\ E. Beamish as minister's churchwarden.
On the motion of Mr J. Smith, seconded by Mr Beamish, Mr Phillip Dolbcl was appointed parishioners' warden. The following were elected vestrymen, on the motion of Mr Dolbel, seconded by Mr Beamish:—Messrs Cγ. A. Oliver, G-. Bradley, J. Smith, A. Wewbould, C. O. Smythe, W. Lord, W. Harpham, and J. Naylor. Messrs 11. J. Gilberd and S. 1\ Anderson, ■were elected auditors.
On the motion of Mr Oliver, seconded by Mr Dolbel, a. hearty voto of thanks was accorded, to Mr J. Smith for his services as parishioners-' v/arden and treasurer during the past'two years. " It was unanimously resolved that the heartfelt sympathy pf the parishioners 'of All Saints, Taradale, be conveyed to their former pastor, the Rev. E. 11. Granger, on his late bereavement.
On the motion of the Rev. C. L. Tukc, seconded by Mr Beamish, a sincere vote of thanks to the Misses Oliver, Harpham, and Baldwin, the organists at Pukctapu, Taradale, and Mean cc, and also to the choirs, Sunday school teachers, and auditors, for their valued gratuitous services, was carried by acclamation. This concluded the business, and a satigfactory meeting vras brought to a close.
