All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 5 soy., which sum shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. All nominations, acceptances, Sec, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed to the secretary, and left at the Criterion Hotel, Napier, not later than S p.m. on the several specified dates.
