DINNER TO MR. THOMAS RUSSELL.
Auckland, This day
Mr Thomas Russell, C.M.G., was entertained at dinner by the members of tho Northern Club last night, previous to his departure for England. Mr Russell spoke very warmly of" the progress made by Auckland, and its future prospects. He believed the export of meat would work a change little dreamed of in agricultural industry.
