A PHYSICIAN ON THE OUTBREAK OF CHOLERA IN EGYPT.
CAPTAIN SHAW RECOVERED FROM
HIS INJURIES
LONDON,
July 4
Sir William Gill, the eminent physician and author of the report on cholera compiled for the Royal College of Physicians, has written a letter to the Press, in which he states his belief that the outbreak of cholera in Egypt will soon subside, and that, in his opinion, tho reports to hand show that the disease exists only in tho milder form, and is not the malignant epidemic known as Asiatic cholera. Captain Shaw, Superintendent of the Metropolitan Fire Brigade, has recovered from the injuries sustained at the recent tire in Long Acre, and has resumed his official duties.
