QUARANTINE ARRANGEMENTS AT EUROPEAN PORTS OWING TO OUTBREAK OF CHOLERA.
MELBOURNE
Thursday.
The local agent of the Peninsular and Oriental Steamship Company has received a telegram announcing that, in consequence of the outbreak of Asiatic cholera at Damietta, all vessels arriving from Egypt will be subjeot to three days quarantine at Austrian, French, and Italian ports. In the case of the Italian ports the regulations aro the same as those made last year under similar circumstances. '
