INQUEST AT TIKOKINO.

An inquest on tho body of Mrs Hall, ■who, it was alleged, committed suicide by taking poison at Tikokino on Wednesday, was held at Tikokino yesterday, before Dr. Todd, coroner, and a jury. William Hall, husband of deceased, stated that his wife had not-been in good health for some days past, and was very despondent. Dr. Todd had been attending her. On Tuesday she was very ill, and on Wednesdey was quite deranged. Fearing deceased might do some injury to herself witness placed everything hurtful out of her reach, and watched her closely. At about 1 o'clock Hall found her in her bedroom, writing a letter, which she put in her pocket when witness approached.
