Hallbtt, R.N., Commander, will be despatched as above from Lyttelton the lOtliof JULY, positively. This vessel, now on her maiden voyage from London, is fitted throughout in the newest and most complete manner. The Saloon is amidships, and is luxuriously furnished. The sleeping-cabins are largo, airy and elegantly fitted. A smoking-room, ladies' boudoirs, four bathrooms, and a barber's room are included in tho Saloon accommodation. Tho Second Class and Steerage quarters are of a superior- character, well provided with lavatories, and having ample promenade space. ■ It is intended that the steamer shall call at Rio do Janeiro, so justly celebrated for tho loveliness of its scenery. Cargo is now being received in Lyttevton and stored free of charge, for which special arrangements must be made. The diotary acalo is most liberal. Second-class and stoorftgc accommodation is all that could be desired, and the ships aro commanded by experienced masters. The Company alao charters ships of the highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the principal ports of the colony with strict punctuality every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from New Zealand. LIVERPOOL AGENCY. A Branch hafl been established in Liverpool, and vessels will be despatched at suitable intervals to the principals porta in New Zealand. NEW YORK AGENCY. Messrs R. W. Cameron and Co. have been appointed Agents for this Company, and a regular lino of vessels will be laid on for tho various ports in this colony to meet the requirements of the trade. Arrangements for tho passages of friends to and fro, from the colony, and also for the conveyance of cargo can be made at the Head Office, Christchurch or at any of the Branches in the colony. D.
