[by cable.] Tho local agent of tho New Zealand loan and Mercantile Agency Company has received from the London office the following telegram under date the 22nd instant: — The wool sales closed at the level of last Bales on the 22nd instant. They comprised about 308,000 bales. 22,000 bales have been held over for future disposal, and 170,000 bales have been taken for export. Superior greasy has advanced |cl to Id per lb, and coarse crossbred has declined to Id perlb.
