INQUESTS.
Wellington-, This day. An inquest was held yesterday into the circumstances of the recent fireatNewtown. The jury returned a verdict that the j>rcmises had been wilfullj r set on fire, but there was no evidence to show by whom. At the inquest on James Lomas, the verdict was "committed suicide while suffering from temporary insanity."
