FLOODS IN NELSON DISTRICT.— CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE.
Nelson, This day. Heavy rain fell from Saturday night till early this morning, when it cleared. The heaviest flood occurred in the Takaka district yesterday that has been known for the last seven years. The tramway was considerably damaged, the bridgo approaches partly carried away, and the traffic stopped.
