PERPETUAL LAND LEASING.
Dunedin, This day. There was good competition for land under the perpetual leasing system in the Windon and Windonside districts yesterday. In every instance there was more than one applicant, and a considerable advance on the upset price was offered. In one case there were ten applicants, and the successful tenderer gave 3s 6d above the upset price.
