Hallett, R.N., Commander, will be despatched as above from Lyttelton about the End of JUNE. This vessel, now on her maiden voyage from London, is fitted throughout in the newest and most complete manner. The Saloon is amidships, and is luxuriously furnished. The sleeping-cabins are largo, airy and elegantly fitted. A smoking-room, ladies' boudoirs, four bathrooms, and a barber's room arc included in the Saloon accommodation. The Second Class and Steerage quarters aro of a superior character, well provided with lavatories, and having ample promenade space. „ It is intended that the steamer shall call rat Rio do Janeiro, so justly celebrated for the loveliness of its scenery. Cargo is now being received in Lyttelton and stored free of charge, for which special arrangements must be made. Parcels under 301bs taken at half a guinea each. Tho saloon and state cabins aro superbly fitted and arranged and provided with every reqiusito for the comfort of the passengers, who are provided with bedding and all cabin fittings. The dietary scale is most liberal. Second-class and Btcerage accommodation is all that could be desired, and the ships are commanded by experienced masters. Tho Company also charters ships of the highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of tho principal ports of the colony with strict punctuality every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from New Zealand.
LIVERPOOL AGENCY. A Branch has been established in Liverpool, and vessels will be despatched at suitable intervals to the principals ports in New Zouland. NEW YORK AGENCY. Messrs R. W. Cameron and Co. have been appointed Agents for this Company, and a regular lino of vessels will be laid on for the various ports in this colony to meet the requirements of the trade. Arrangements for tho passages of friends to and fro from the colony, and also for the conveyance of cargo can be made at the Head Office, Christchurch or at any of tho Branches in the colony. D.
