Tho privileges of 'the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's steeplechase meeting will be sold by auction at the Criterion Hotel on Tuesday noxt by Messrs Hoadley, Lyon and Co. The half-yearly meeting of St John's Branch, H.A.C.8.5., will be held in the usual place on Wednesday evening next. Messrs James Lyon, Thomas Bishop, and It. Wellwood, have been appointed stewards of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club. Mr Monteith publishes particulars of his sale of "Wanganui-brcd horses at the Horse Bazaar on Saturday. Messrs Blythe and Co. announce that special purchases and special value will appear in to-morrow's paper. Captain Gleadow, Port Ahuriri, has for sale the unexpired lease of two town sections iv Napier, with cottages thereon. A number of new advertisements will be found in our "Wanted " column.
