MEMORIALISING GOVERNMENT for REMISSION of COSTLEY LEGACY DUTY.
Auckland, This day. The City Council intend, with the cooperation of the legatees in tho Costlcy bequest, to memorialise the Government for a remission of tho legacy duty ; also for a repeal of the clause iv the Act exacting duty in cases of bequests for public purposes.
