The alleged assault cases arising out of tho recent disorderly meeting of the South Dunedin Borough Council came up voterday at the R.M. Court. Mr 73. Thorp, a ratepayer, who took the minute-book from the Mayor, was lined -1 Us and costs. The charcre against Councillor Clark Avas dismissed, and tho charge against Councillor Appleby was Avithdrawn.
