PROFESSORSHIPS FOR AUCKLAND UNIVERSITY.

Tlie University Council have passed a resolution requesting , the Government to appoint a Professor of Anatomy, and suggesting that District Judge Smith be appointed Law Lecturer. It was stated that the Choral Society will contribute towards the establishment of a professorship of Music, and a committco was appointed to meet the Choral Society.
