EXTRAORDINARY VACANCY. \S7"EREAS an Extraordinary Vacancy T f has occurred in the Council for the County of Hawko's .Bay, now, therefore, I, AUGUST HAMILTON, Returning Officer for the Petane Riding of the County of Hawke's Bay, do hereby in pursuance of the "Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876," give notice that an election of one Councillor for the said Riding will behold on SATURDAY, tho 16th day of June, 1883, and I appoint SATURDAY, the 9th day of June, 1883, at noon, as the day, and tho School-room, Petane, as the place for tho Nominal ion of Candidates.
