THE NATIONALISATION OF THE LAND.
Dunedin, Friday. A public meeting under the auspices of the Land Nationalisation Society was held in the Lyceum last night. There Avere about one hundred people present. Mr M. W. Green avus in the chair. Mr Stout delivered a speech on tho question "Is land different from other property ?" answering it in the affirmative. The Rev. John Waters (Presbyterian) read a paper "On the nature of tho tenure of land under tho national lease system." A discussion ensued, but only one opponent of laud nationalisation Avas present. At the close votes of thanks Avere passed to those Avho gave addresses.
