DEPARTURES.
May. 28—Mauaia, p.s., for Wairoa. «. The C.G. ss. I-linemon, Cnptain Fairchild, arrived in the roadstead early this morning with His Excellency the Governor aud suite on board. Tho Governor eft the steamer at about 10 a.m., and landed at the breastwork shortly afterwards, whore he was received with vice-regal honors. __ The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Suva arrived in port to-day with the Hawke's Bay portion of the English 'Frisco mad on board. She was immediately tendered for mails and passengers by the launch Boojum, and her cargo, about 20 tons, by the lighters. Thep.s. Manaia, Captain Baxter, steamed for Wairoa during tho course of the night, taking passengers and cargo. The Union Steamship Company s s.s. Southern Cross, Captain Allman, will arrive iv our roadstead from Lyttelton tomorrow morning. She will bo brought intnde to discharge passengers and cargo. Tho Cross is announced to steam for Poverty Bay and Auckland at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. The s.s., Maori, Captain Anderson, will leave for Wairoa to-morrow evening. (By Cable.) Sydney, Monday. Arrived, this morning — Albion, from Auckland. Tuesday. Arrived, last evening, Wakatipu, from Wellington. [by telegraph.] Auckland, Monday. Arrived—Waihora, from Sydney. Dunedin, Monday. Sailed—Enterprise, brigantine, fovNapier. Hokitika, Monday. The wreck of the Isabella Anderson realised £200 at auction.
