A RABBIT PROSECUTION.

Dunedin, This day.

Mr Forsyth, the patentee of the rabbit exterminator, sued Mr Albert Dornwell yesterday for money due having cleared off the rabbits from a farm of 550 acres. Evidence was given by several witnesses that no rabbits survived the poisonous fumes administered iv the burrows by the plaintiff, although rabbits were to be seen a neighboring faun. The magistrate was of opinion that Mr Forsyth had carried out his contract to clear the land, and gave judgment accordingly.
