THE BRITISH QUEEN LOADING FROZEN MEAT.
Christchurch, This day. The steamer British Queen commenced loading frozen meat yesterday for London. Nearly 1000 carcasses of sheep, ranging from s!)lbs to 88lbs, Avere taken aboard. In all 5600 carcases of sheep and 52 quarters of beef have been frozen ready for shipment.
