PROGRESS AT THE SOUTH PACIFIC OIL WORKS.
GisnORNE, This day. Mr Isles, manager of the South Pacific Petroleum Company, has just returned from tho works. He reports that the bore wasdown on Friday 160 feet, and going well through soft sandstone. The use of the pipes has been resumed. Contributing shares are tight at -Is, and paid-up have been quitted at 8s Gd.
