The annual meeting of the members of the Niipier Chamber of Commerce is convened to be held at tho rooms of the Chamber on Thursday, 31st instant. Applications for Crown lands in the Ruataniwha survey district on deferred payments (residence optional) will bo received at tho Crown Lands Office, Napier, on Tuesday, Juno 19. Messrs A. Shield and W. Dabbs have taken out shooting licenses for the game reason. Tho Taradalc District Board of River Conservators invite tenders for leasing, for a term of seven years, about four acres of land lately in the occupation of Mr Drydon. The finder of a silver bracelet, lost on Sunday evening, will bo rewarded by leaving it at Mrs Fly mi's, Shakespeare road. Mr G. J. Mitchell, dviver of the Petane coach, offers a reward of £o to anyone returning to him a pockci-book containing £30 in notes, lost between the Spit and the Star Hotel Mr Annand, Waipawa, wants W. Talbot to call on him at once. Mr Eyan holds an important sale of furniture and household effects at his mart on Wednesday, 30th instant. Alexander Chisholm, of Napier, coach painter, has filed a declaration in the Supreme Court of his inability to meet his engagements with his creditors, who hold a meeting at the Court House, Napier, on Wednesday, June 6. Accounts duo to Mr E. Mullany, if not settled before the end of tho month, will be sued for without further notice.

W. E. Combs, of Gisborne, draper, has filed in the Supreme Court a deed of arrangement for the benefit of his creditors, who meet to assent to same at the Court House, Napier, on Friday, June 8. An auction sale of Crown lands in the Ruataniwha, Norsewood, and Woodvillo survey districts, township of Tarawera, Kumeroa village, and Bushmills settlement, for cash and on deferred payments, will take place at the Council Chamber, Napier, on Thursday, June 21.
