The following is a'summary of the nominations:—Auckland, 127 souls, including- 10 single men and 50 single women ; amount received,. £607 1.75. Taranaki, li souls, including 4 single men and I single, women ; amount received, iMu 7s (id. Hawkc's Bay, 20 souls, including o single men and 5_ s-inglo women; amount received, £55. Wellington, 81 soids, including lc singlo men and 16 single women (nationalities, 40 English, IS Irish, 8 Scotch, 15 foreign); amount received, £218 7s Gd. Nelson, ssoula; amount

received, £8 10s. Wcstlands, 5 souls, consi.stinff of single women ; amount received, £5. Marlborough, 12 souls, including 4 single men and 1 single woman ; amount received, £1. Canterbury, 12-4 souls, including 24 single men and 32 single women ; amount received, £361 7s 6d. Otngo,_ 104 souls, including IS single men and 30 single women; amount received. £271. Southland, 52 souls, including- 17 single men and 13 single women ; amount received, £193 12s Gd. Since the resumption of the_immigration system nominations for G585 souls equal to 5813 adults, have been forwarded Home, and the amount received is £18,300 15s od. Of these nominations 2573 have been for English ; 23G5 for Irish, 1538 for Scotch, and" 173 for foreigners; the single men number 1429, and the single women 2254.
