Miss Juno and company perform "The "Woman iv Koi" at tlio Theatre Koyal to*
night. To-morrow Miss Juno takes a benefit, appearing as Leah the Forsaken, when a special train runs from Hastings and Farndon. The members of tho Napier Fire Brigade meet at the station this evening at 7.30. A r oluntcer recruits parade at the drill-shed at 7.45 to-night. Tho members of the Loyal United Friends hold a meeting in the Taradale school-room at 8 o'clock this evening. An express leaves the Working Men's Club for the convenience of town members at 7 o'clock. A free tea meeting, on tho occasion of Mr Mabbett, schoolmaster, leaving tho district, will be held in theMeance school to-morrow evening. Messrs Banner and Liddle sell at their rooms to-morrow at 11 a.m., about \\ tons of oatmeal. The programme of the JBirtUdaj- sports, to be held on the Napier recreation ground on the 24-th instant, is published. Mr Roope Brooking lias 38 acres of good land, partly cleared, at Pohui, for sale cheap. The New Zealand Clothing Factory, Napier and AVaipawa, draw tho attention of the public to the advantages of purchasing at their establishments, and of thus fostering colonial industry. An application, together with householder's certificate in favor thereof, by William Ebbett, for a publican's license for the Royal Hotel, Napier, is published. Mr R, AVellwood, Maxwell Lea, has a suburban section at East Hastings for sale. Fifty homespun and beige costumes are to be cleared at reduced prices at the Bon Marche. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column.
