The proprietors of nine lines of vessels, employing tonnage amounting iv the aggregate to 3,000,000 tons, support the wheme for making a second Suez Canal. Tho Standard Oilworks, Jersey City, United States, have been struck by lightning, and half-a-inillion barrels of oil burned. Six lives were lost in the conflagration. Sixty thousand troops are now assembled in Moscow for the Czar's coronation. The Right Hon. Mr Dodson's new bill compels landlords to pay outgoing tenants the vaiuo of their improvements to incoming tenants. Mr Hervard, M.P. for Bedfordshire, -will move its rejection.
