New 'Zealand securities continue at the following quotations:—Five percent. 10-40 loan, 10(3; five per cent. 1889 loan, 103-1, ex dividend; four and a half per cent. 1870-IOOi loan, 1021; four percent, inscribed stock, 1021. The market rato of discount has risen to 3-J, and is now one-eighth below the bank rate.
Australian breadstulfs continue quiet but steady at last prices, namely, Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 3-1/; New Zealand "wheat, ex warehouse, -10/ to -18/(5. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 21,390,000 quarters an increase of 156,000 quarters during- the week.
The market for Australian tallow is dull at a decline of Is per cwt, best beef being , quoted at 12 /, and best mutton at •] I.
