London, May 10. The total reserve in notes aud bullion in the Bank of England is £10,-00,000, being .1:200,000 less than on last Thursday. The proportion of reserve to liabilities has further declined 1 per cent, aud is now o _ per cent. The bank rate of discount has been raised to -1 per cent; market rate, !_ per cent. Consols remain at 101|, and New Zealand securities as follows: —Five per cent 10-10 loan, 106, c.\"-dividond; five per cont 1889 loan, 10'db, ox-dividend ; four aud a half per cent 1879-1901 loan, 102_-; four per cent inscribed stock, 102b, There are no changes to report in the markets for colonial produce. Sydney, Friday. New Zealand wheat, per bushel, -Is 2d ; New Zealand oats, 2s 9d ; maize, 2s 9cl ; Biiffar, Company's No. 1 pieces, per ton, £35.
Adelaide, Friday. Wheat is quiet at 5s Gd ; town flour £12 10s per ton, and country brands £11 10s. Tho market for flour is dull, and without enquiry.
