CARRYING ON AN ESTATE IN LIQUIDATION.

Dunedin, AVednosday. At a meeting of creditors in the estate of Staveley, Austin and Co., held on Tuesday afternoon, the following Avas the resolution adopted:—"That the estate be earned on in liquidation, Messrs Ferricr and Dennison being the liquidators, and that when the estate has realised 15s in the £ net Avithout interest, any balance to be left to the debtors, it being understood that should the firm within two mouths be enabled to offer a compromise of 15s guaranteed, such arrangement shall take the place of the arrangement above - mentioned." It is understood that the greater part of the liability to the Bank of New Zealand is secured.
