April. 28—Te Anau, s.s., for Melbourne via Wellington and Southern ports. Passengers—Mrs Bush, Messrs Rinze, Bush, Mills, R. Thomson, Young, Cattle, Twist, and George ; Master George. 28—Go-ahead, s.s., for Wellington.

29 —Tarawera, s.s., for Sydney, via Poverty Bay and Auckland. Passengers— Misses Arrow, Robottom, and Hutchinson ; Mesdames Hutchinson, and Freeman; Messrs A. Guy, A. L. Levi, Cargo, M'Kcrrow, Vercoe, Begg-, Rathbone, Robinson, Babcr, Smith, P. Wickham, H. Buttle, Karaitiana, M'Kay, Hatcuke, Jewfrcy, Langan. Arnold, Patten, and Campbell.

The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Tarawera, Captain W. C. Sinclair, arrived in the roadstead from Melbourne via Southern ports and Wellington at 9.40 yesterday morning. She was tendered by the .Boojum for passengers and mails and the lighters for about 40 tons of cargo. The following is a report of her passage: -Left Sandridgc pier at G p.m. on the 17th inst., cleared the Heads at 5.30 p.m., was oft Swan Island at 9.30 p.m. on the ISth, passed Capo Pillar at 2 a.m. on the 19th, and arrived at Hobart at 7.30 a.m. ; left at G p.m.; had fine weather, with variable winds; slowed engines at 4 p.m. on tho 22nd, arrived at Bluff at daylight on tho 23rd, sailed at 8.30, and arrived at Port Chalmers at 7 a.m. on the 24th inst. ; left Port Chalmers on the 25th, aud arrived at Lyttelton on the 2Gth ; loft in the evening for Wellington, and arrived at the Queen's Wharf on "the 27th ; loft next day, and arrived hero as given above. Experienced fine weather and light airs throughout the passage. The outward passengers were taken off from the breastwork at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, the Tarawera proceeding on her course for Sydney via Poverty Bay and Auckland at 5.15 p.m. She is telegraphed as having arrived at Gisborne at 5.30 a.m. this day.

The outward passengers were taken off to the s.s. Te Anau at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, the steamer getting away for Southern ports and .Melbourne at 3 o'clock. She is telegraphed as having arrived at AVellington at 10.30 a.m. yesterday.

The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, is to take her departure for the Wairoa at 12 o'clock to-night.

The Union Company's s.s. Taiaroa, Capt. Hansby, is due in the bay by daylight tomorrow from Northern ports, and will be taking her departure again for Wellington and Dunedin at 10 a.m. the same day.

The steamer Kiwi is to leave Wellington to-morrow evening, and will be due here at daylight on Thursday next.

The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Captain Alhnan, is expected here on Wcdnesdaj* morning from Wellington, and is announced to sail for Gisborne a_d Auckland the same day.

The p.s. Manaia, Captain Baxter, will be leaving for Wairoa at 12 o'clock to-night, taking- passengers and cargo. The Union steamer Omapere will be due hero on Friday next from Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru direct, and will be sailingnorthward at 3 o'clock the same day.

The launch Boojum is announced to sail for Wairoa at 7 o'clock on Wednesday morning.

The s.s. Go-Ahead, hence on Saturday, arrived at Wellington at 1 p.m. yesterday.
