Cristchurch, This day. A seven-roomed house at PhillipstoAvn, oAvned by Mr John Clark and occupied by Mr James AVebbcr, was burnt doAvn at 4 o'clock on Saturday morning-. Fires arc becoming common in this quarter of the suburbs. The house was insured for £250 in tho Union office, and the furniture for £200 in the Colonial office. The orgin of the fire is uiiknoAvn.
