NAVIGATION ON ENTERING MANAKAU HARBOUR.

Wellington, This day. The Marino Department has received the following telegram from the Harbor Master at Manakau :■—" The south head beacons on the Manakau harbor are adjusted in a line bearing N-E. by N. half N. magnetic, to loud tho course of the south channel to clear the Boron spit. _ The semaphore arms will be used for piloting vessels in and out of the harbor when required. The Fanny channel will still be used when necessary.
