Maungaiiaruru District —Fern hills aud spurs on the western slopes of the Maungaiiaruru Range; the soil is light; about onehalf of Section 2 is undulating country coveren with natural grasses; Section 4 has frontage to Taupo road ; a few clump.- l--of bush arc scattered about on Section 1. AVaitara District — Open fern country, hilly.
