CONTINUATION OF THE 'FRISCO MAIL SERVICE.

AA r ELLiNGTON, This day. The Government have received a cable confirming what appeared this morning re the San Francisco mail service, and that the motion was passed subject to the Imperial Government agreeing to defray the cost of the conveyance of the mails from New York to 'Frisco on the same terms as heretofore. The Auckland agent of the Pacific Mail Company has wired to the head office asking if they will agree to the terms, and a reply is expected by Monday.
