The jury in the case of Timothy Kelly, one of the Phoenix Park prisoners, has been discharged, being unable to agree upon a verdict. The trial of Michael Fagan, the fourth of ' the prisoners who have been committed for trial for the murder of Lord F. Cavendish and Mr Burke was commenced to-day. Another of the prisoners, Joseph Hanlou, has turned informer. At Nownirrket to-day Prince Bathyany, of Vicuna. Attache to the Austrian-Hun-garian Legation at London, died suddenly in the enclosure at the racecourse.
April 26. The ship British Commerce, outward bound from London to Melbourne, has been run clown and sunk in the Channel. Twenty-five lives have been lost by the catastrophe.
