Consols remain at 102*, and New Zealand securities at the folloAving quotations:— Five per cent 10-40 loan, 108/, ; five per cent 1889 loan, 106 ; four and "a half percent 1879-1904 loan, 102 i; four per cent inscribed stock, 102-J. Adelaide Avheat is unchanged at 50s; Ncav Zealand ditto has adr'aiiccd Is per quarter, and is iioav Avorth 45s to 49s ; Adelaide Hour has risen to 34s Gd. Australian tallow is firm at 44s for best beef, and 46s for best mutton. Melbourne, Tuesday. The Melbourne manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of Ncav Zealand reports of tho local grain market as follows :—Shipping AArheat r 5s 4d to 5s 4d, ■with market quiet; malting barley is firm at 5s 3d to 5s 9d ; Ncav Zealand oats are steady at 2s lOd to 3s 2d for feeding qualities, and 3s 2d to 3s -Id for milling ; New Zealand oats, under bond, aro qmet at 2s 3d to 2s 7d.
